Event Overview

The Asset Management and Investors Council (AMIC), ICMA’s forum for the international asset management industry and the global investor community, held its next bi-annual conference in London in November. Key ICMA priorities including benchmark reform and transition to risk-free rates, the evolution of the landscape for investment research as well as securitisation were discussed from a buy-side perspective.

ICMA's membership today includes 180 firms with direct buy side interest. AMIC aims to bridge the interest between its buy and sell side members, identifying solutions to practical issues for members at a technical level and engages with regulatory authorities on its own behalf or as part of a cross-industry group, amongst others.
