On 18 September ICMA hosted a virtual conversation between Martin Scheck, Chief Executive at ICMA and Arunma Oteh, Academic Scholar at the University of Oxford and former Treasurer & Vice President of the World Bank.
Since January 2019, Arunma has been an Academic Scholar at St. Antony’s College and an Executive-in-Residence at SAID Business School, University of Oxford. Her research areas of focus are capital markets, economic development and financial technology.

On 18 September ICMA hosted a virtual conversation between Martin Scheck, Chief Executive at ICMA and Arunma Oteh, Academic Scholar at the University of Oxford and former Treasurer & Vice President of the World Bank.
Since January 2019, Arunma has been an Academic Scholar at St. Antony’s College and an Executive-in-Residence at SAID Business School, University of Oxford. Her research areas of focus are capital markets, economic development and financial technology.
From 2015-2018, Arunma served as the Treasurer and a Vice President of the World Bank. From 2010 to 2015, she was the Director General of the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) where she was responsible for regulation of Nigeria's capital markets, including the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Before this she had a long career in various roles at the African Development Bank.
