Event overview

The first phase of reporting under the EU Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR) will go live in April 2020, introducing extensive new reporting requirements for repo transactions in Europe. ICMA, through its SFTR Task Force, is helping the market to prepare for the challenge, by agreeing common definitions and developing best practices to ensure consistency and facilitate the reporting of repo trades under SFTR.

This free seminar in Luxembourg gave an overview of the SFTR requirements and ICMA’s work to help the industry prepare, followed by a panel discussion with market participants from the region discussing operational challenges and overall readiness.

The seminar was followed by a networking reception.
