Event Overview

Drawing together international experts and market participants from the GCC this half day ICMA conference will look at major developments in global and MENA bond markets. The agenda will feature discussions on the outlook for MENA bonds and sukuk issues; trends in secondary bond markets; the transformation of bond markets by technology; and the rise of ESG investing.

The current transition from IBORs to new alternative benchmarks will also be covered, highlighting progress on the choice of replacement risk-free rates in different currency areas and the implications of the transition for new bonds and legacy issues.

Admission: This event is open to all ICMA members and financial market participants and is free of charge; however, registration in advance is essential.

For security reasons, delegates who have not registered in advance will not be admitted to this event. Delegates will be required to provide photo identification on arrival, to ensure entry.
