Event Overview

As the January 2018 MiFID II/R implementation date approaches ICMA is holding MiFID II/R workshops and roundtable discussions for its members and fixed income professionals.

On 23 November, ICMA will be holding a roundtable discussion in Dublin to assist buy-side and sell-side bond traders in assessing whether they are on the same track as their counterparts in other regions. The MiFID II roundtable discussion will cover trading workflow, market structure and research distribution & consumption. The intention is to facilitate interactive dialog regarding local implementation interpretation and challenges, as well as the sharing of information. The target audience for this roundtable is bond market participants, including legal advisors, who are heavily focused on transparency and the research obligations of MiFID II/R, as well as the newly emerging trends in market structure; including innovative protocols and platforms.

The agenda will be available here shortly.
