Event Overview

The Social bond market has quadrupled in issuance volume since the launch of the Social Bond Principles in 2017. Annual issuance increased from $2.1bn in 2016 to $8.8bn in 2017. As more diverse issuers consider coming to the market, what can be done to encourage growth of the product?

This ICMA Seminar: ‘Social bonds - from niche to mainstream’, was organised in conjunction with City Week 2018, and brought together issuers, investors, underwriters and infrastructure providers to discuss this.
