ICMA Women’s Network Event - Sustainability: the perspective of influential women in the rapidly growing ESG market

Hosted by

Date: 1 November 2018
Time: 17.30-20.30

Venue:
HSBC, 8 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HQ

Green bonds, social bonds, sustainable bonds and other innovative financing solutions have in recent years been catapulted into the mainstream of debt capital markets funding. Reflective of the increasing importance of these asset classes, issuer and investor momentum is accelerating as connections are made between doing well and doing good, with the common imperative of long-term sustainable economic growth. ESG credentials and sustainability are now featured in many investment mandates, often linked to gender diversity.

This event assembles a number of influential women in the industry. They will discuss their own career paths and highlight the career progression opportunities that sustainability presents. Anyone keen to understand the power of sustainability and related innovation should attend and be inspired to join the sustainable revolution!

Confirmed speakers include:
  • Farnam Bidgoli, Associate, DCM Sustainable Bonds, HSBC
  • Mandy DeFilippo, Managing Director, Head of Risk Management for Fixed Income & Commodities, EMEA, Morgan Stanley; and Chair of ICMA
  • Ingrid Holmes, Head of Policy, Hermes Investment Management
  • Margaret Kulhow, Finance Practice Head, WWF
