I. Introductory Programmes
These courses provide a comprehensive introduction to the front office and operations areas of the financial markets sector respectively. They are designed for those who are just starting their careers within the financial industry, as well as for candidates who need a deeper understanding of the terminology used within the marketplace.

These courses are examined and are available as a 3 day classroom based option or as a 3 month online learning programme (except the IFI and IPM). Candidates who are successful in the exam will receive a certificate, jointly issued by ICMA and the ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, University of Reading.

II. Intermediate Programmes
These courses are designed for those within their first ten years in the financial industry. The programmes are challenging and demanding, and will equip participants with practical skills which they can use in their day-to-day work. Many expert speakers contribute to each of the courses providing delegates with key insights into the financial industry.

The courses are classroom based, five to six days in length and are examined. The Fixed Income Certificate (FIC) is also available as an online course. Candidates who are successful in the exam will receive a certificate, jointly issued by ICMA and the ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, University of Reading.

III. Specialist Programmes
Our 1-2 day, classroom based, specialist programmes are single topic subjects, covered within our intermediate courses, but in much more depth. The courses are very focused and provide an opportunity to network and discuss the issues affecting the financial markets with your industry peers.

ICMA Executive Education is pleased to announce that several of our courses are now available as online learning programmes.

The new online courses are conducted from our new innovative, interactive software platform and provide a much more supportive candidate experience.

Diplomas
ICMA Executive Education offers candidates the opportunity to achieve a recognised financial markets diploma by completing courses in a defined pathway. Relevant to all financial market practitioners, the diplomas provide candidates with up-to-date and practical knowledge to advance their career. Candidates will also benefit from being able to network with their industry peers.

The two diplomas focus on either Securities and Derivatives or Financial Market Operationsand are achieved by candidates successfully completing the prescribed courses at Levels I and II with 2 options taken from Level III.

Scholarships
ICMA has launched a limited number of new scholarships for employees of member firms who are under 25 years of age. The intention is to develop the skills of people who are at the start of their careers in financial markets by encouraging access to ICMA EE courses, particularly the Financial Markets Foundation Course (FMFC) and Securities Operations Foundation Course (SOFC). There are a limited number of scholarships available for each ICMA member firm. Eligible students receive a further 50% discount from the members rate (already discounted by 30% from the non ICMA member rate) to attend the full suite of ICMA EE courses.
