Overview
The 8th edition of the ICMA & JSDA annual sustainable bond conference, titled "Enabling Sustainable Society / Economy-Wide Transition through Sustainable Bonds", will take place at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu Tokyo and online on 22 November 2024.
Currently standing at an outstanding volume of over $4.5 trillion, green, social, sustainability, and sustainability-linked bonds constitute the largest financial market dedicated to the sustainability transition objective.
Guided by the ICMA Principles, Japan has also been a frontrunner in providing guidance for the transition of a wide range of key economic sectors, through its Basic Guidelines and sector-based roadmaps since 2021 and its climate transition bonds in 2024 to support the implementation of comprehensive Green Transformation (GX) government policy.
The ICMA-JSDA 8th annual flagship event will take stock of the progress made in transition finance both globally and in Japan. It will also further discuss other emerging themes, including financing the social aspect in the context of broader sustainability strategies of issuers.
The programme and the opening of registrations will be announced shortly.
Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are available. Download the sponsorship brochure here. For more information, please contact Sanaa Clausse BenAbdelhadi.
