Featuring a keynote from the Chief Economist of HSBC and panels of industry experts, this event provides a great opportunity to gain practical and topical insights in key primary market developments.

Primary bond markets have remained resilient in spite of persistently high inflation leading to tightening in monetary policy, sluggish economic growth, higher rates and fluctuating liquidity. Our panellists will share views from their respective functions on how this economic context, combined with current global events, affects behaviours, dynamics and projections in different parts of the primary markets, trends in new issue execution and the outlook for the bond markets in 2024.

In this discussion, the panel will share views from their respective functions on developments in sustainable and climate transition finance, including market responses to greenwashing concerns, implementation of upcoming regulation, the role of ISSB standards and ESG ratings and data providers.
