Overview
Join us for a fireside conversation with Paul Lewis OBE, Firmwide Managing Partner of Linklaters, over coffee, offering early-career capital markets professionals an opportunity for open discussion and meaningful engagement in a small-group setting.
As a structured capital markets and derivatives lawyer of more than 25 years' standing, Paul will speak candidly about the career decisions that took him from trainee to the top of a global firm, what leading it actually involves, and his view on the challenges and opportunities facing young professionals today. A long-standing champion of social mobility who was awarded an OBE for his community service work, Paul will also share why giving back matters to him and how young professionals can start making a contribution alongside demanding day jobs.
Places are limited. Attendees are invited to submit questions in advance, so the agenda is shaped by what the room actually wants to know, with time for live questions in the session itself.
Attendees will then join the networking reception at the closing of the ICMA European Primary Market Forum, also hosted at Linklaters, providing Future Leaders with an opportunity to strengthen professional connections and engage with peers and senior leaders across the wider capital markets community.
Admission: This in-person event is free to attend and open to employees of ICMA member firms.![]()
