Overview

As digitalisation continues to reshape capital markets, the adoption of digital settlement assets, tokenised securities and distributed ledger technology (DLT) is gaining momentum. This event will explore the evolution of digital money and its implications for fixed income markets, including the role of wholesale CBDCs, tokenised deposits and regulated stablecoins.

Through fireside chats and panel discussions, leading market participants and policymakers will examine the practical opportunities and challenges of moving from experimentation to scale. Topics will include digital settlement assets, tokenised securities, delivery-versus-payment, collateral mobility and the interoperability of DLT and legacy infrastructure.

The event will also consider the roadmap towards Appia and the future of TARGET services, before concluding with a discussion on the steps needed to build connected, scalable and interoperable digital fixed income markets.

ICMA and BofA Securities will hold a one-day training workshop aimed at regulators, issuers, investors and other market participants from the APAC region on June 27 at the Westin Singapore.
