Event overview
As the EGM was expected to last for no more than 30 minutes, holding an in-person meeting would neither be cost-efficient nor sustainable. The board therefore decided (based on the Swiss Federal Council’s Covid-19-Ordinance 3) that the EGM will follow a written format:
- the EGM was held on November 23, 2022, from 10:00 to 10:30 (CET), at ICMA’s domicile, Dreikoenigstrasse 8, 8002 Zurich, Switzerland;
- members had to exercise their rights exclusively in writing prior to the EGM. The EGM was attended only by the Chief Executive, the Company Secretary and appointed Teller, who reviewed the written responses from the membership with regard to the items on the agenda.

Members were requested to submit their ballot forms by e-mail or post for receipt by ICMA by no later than November 18, 2022, 18:00 (CET) as instructed in more detail in ICMA’s letter of October 19, 2022 to members.
On November 23, 2022 at 11:00 (CET), ICMA held a webinar to present the outcome of the EGM on the proposal to increase the annual subscription payable by members to take effect on January 1, 2023.
- Mandy DeFilippo, Chair and Bryan Pascoe, Chief Executive presented the results and outline the key priorities of the association based on the outcome.
