Overview
Blended finance is the strategic use of development funds to attract mainstream private sector capital (at market rate) to address market failures. SDG financing gap in emerging markets has been widening over the years given the challenges the world is facing around climate change, social development (health and education), and supporting communities to build resilience.
This webinar introduced key trends globally and, in the region, introduced blended finance architypes and had a rich panel discussion about the advantages, challenges, explored potential use cases and opportunities in Asia.
Admission: This webinar was free to attend and open to ICMA members and interested market participants.
