Overview

The 19th ICMA European Primary Market Forum brought together stakeholders from across the capital markets ecosystem to explore the key forces shaping today’s debt capital markets in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

As we move through a pivotal year marked by political transitions across major economies, the event gave participants practical and timely insights into critical primary market developments through a series of expert panels and keynote sessions. The continued impact of global electoral outcomes, shifting monetary policy and geopolitical instability on bond markets and liquidity featured, with a focus on the innovation required to ensure the resilience of European capital markets, in particular amid evolving global sentiment around traditional assets.

This event offered a valuable opportunity to engage directly with market experts and peers, to gain insight into how the debt capital markets are adapting and evolving in 2025.
