ICMA’s Chief Executive, Bryan Pascoe, will open the event with an update on current priorities and activities. Ralph Ockert, Chair, and Petra Wehlert, Vice Chair of the ICMA German Region, will address key regional market developments.
As a special feature, Cyber security, AI, risk management, digital trust—Peter Hacker is an internationally active entrepreneur, speaker, and author whose work focuses on corporate security in the context of digitalization, artificial intelligence, global change, and world political as well as economic events. The significance of cyber risks as a threat to SMEs, large companies, and government departments has increased rapidly over the past two years. In his keynote speeches, Peter Hacker uses real-life examples to illustrate the developments, risks, and challenges that can have a drastic impact on countries and companies alike. He makes it clear that cyber security must be a top priority and at the same time highlights the opportunities offered by technologies and AI to better protect data, systems, employees, customers, reputations, and intangible assets.
