Overview
Members are invited to join the small‑group, interactive ICMA Future Leaders session in Singapore. The session is held over a relaxed light lunch, creating space for open and candid conversations about stress, what it actually is, what commonly triggers it, and how it shows up in our everyday lives. Guided by Na Yi Ting, Co‑Founder and Chief Physician of Yi TCM, and Evonne Lek, Founder, Systemic Psychotherapist and Family Therapist at Reconnect Psychology & Family Therapy, the session offers a supportive setting to reflect on our own stress responses and build greater self-awareness.
Participants will be introduced to simple, evidence-informed techniques drawn from both psychological and traditional Chinese medicine perspectives, offering a holistic view of how the mind and body respond to pressure. We will explore practical strategies to navigate challenging moments, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop healthier responses under stress.
The session also touches on the importance of recognising unmanaged stress early, and understanding its potential impact on our physical health, mental well-being, and emotional balance. Attendees will leave with accessible, practical tools they can apply straight away to protect their long-term health and build lasting resilience.
Admission: This in-person event is free to attend and open exclusively to ICMA members. There are limited spaces for the workshop. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
