Overview
The ICMA Primary Market Seminar provides an introduction to the practical workings of the primary international debt capital markets and the standards that underpin the primary bond market. Of interest especially for junior capital market professionals, the session will offer valuable insights into the conventions, documentation and processes that support bond issuance in international capital markets.
The seminar will focus on the ICMA Primary Market Handbook, the market's leading reference guide to best practice in the international debt capital markets. The Handbook brings together ICMA recommendations, guidance and standard approaches covering the entire bond issuance process, from mandate and structuring through syndication, allocation, pricing and settlement. For professionals entering the market, familiarity with the handbook provides a strong foundation for understanding how market participants interact and how transactions are executed consistently across jurisdictions.
