Overview
While more women are present in the work force and generating a higher income today than in past generations, studies show a noticeable gender gap in financial literacy and financial planning that poses a challenge to women’s well-being and security in retirement. This session takes a step towards addressing challenges that women face in managing their wealth and planning for their financial futures, with strategies for women to improve their financial well-being for life-stage goals.

Guest Speaker: Jessica Cutrera, President, LEO WealthJessica Cutrera has been named a Woman of Influence and a Leading Woman Entrepreneur in Hong Kong by the American Chamber of Commerce. She is is a passionate advocate for financial literacy—especially for women navigating complex life transitions such as career change, relocation, divorce, or retirement. She regularly speaks on this topic at industry events across Asia, including forums hosted by Women in ETFs, the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (AmCham), and community initiatives supporting women's financial empowerment. Whether demystifying investment fundamentals or advising on financial resilience after redundancy, Jessica has been known to bring clarity, empathy, and rigour to her engagements. Jessica Cutrera is President of LEO Wealth, a global wealth advisory firm headquartered in Hong Kong. A seasoned expert in cross-border tax, financial, and estate planning, Jessica specialises in advising globally mobile professionals, including a focus on Americans living in Asia. She began her career at Charles Schwab in the United States before relocating to Asia in 2003, and has been hailed as a pioneer in the region’s independent advisory space. Jessica holds an MBA from Temple University in Tokyo and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She is also an Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor (ADPA®) and Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®). |
