Les marchés financiers ont la réputation d’être majoritairement masculin. La bourse de Paris n’a été rendue accessible aux femmes qu’en avril 1967. De nombreuses femmes réussissent néanmoins une carrière brillante dans le milieu financier, bancaire ou dans le secteur économique. Le « plafond de verre » n’a pas résisté à leurs compétences et leurs qualités. Certaines d’entre elles nous font l’honneur de venir partager leur expérience. Elles parleront de leurs motivations, des défis qu’elles ont dû relever et comment elles ont réussi à s'imposer. Elles expliqueront si elles ont dû faire face à de fortes résistances ou bien si elles ont bénéficié de la bienveillance de certaines personnes dans le cadre de leur parcours professionnel. Enfin, elles partageront des conseils pour réussir à concilier des emplois très exigeants avec les aléas de la vie de famille.
The capital markets have the reputation of being predominantly male. The Paris Stock Exchange was only made accessible to women in April 1967. Nonetheless, numerous women have succeeded in a brilliant career in the financial, banking, or economic sectors. The “glass ceiling” did not resist to their skills and qualities. We are honoured to welcome a few of them who will share their experience. They will talk about their motivations, the challenges they had to overcome and how they managed to be successful. They will explain if they had to face strong resistance or if they benefited from the goodwill of certain people in the context of their professional career. Finally, they will share tips on how to manage to balance very demanding jobs with the ups and downs of family life.
