Sustainable finance has rapidly become a major growth area, with the total value of ESG investments poised to exceed $53 trillion by 2025. The Sustainable Finance: Unlock Global Investment Strategies programme explores the focus on sustainability in the global finance and investment community, and helps you distinguish between different types of sustainable finance products and relevant eligibility criteria.
This six week online programme draws on expertise from Imperial Business School and Centre for Climate Finance & Investment faculty, industry experts and case studies. You will also draw on the expertise of your peers. You will experience live online teaching sessions, video lectures, interactive activities and assignments whilst receiving personal support from a dedicated Learning Team.
You will finish the programme prepared to implement your learnings, and with a verified Digital Certificate from Imperial Executive Education.

Online Course
Your time will be split between recorded coding demos, video lectures, assignments, projects, knowledge checks, class discussions, and optional live sessions with industry experts and programme leaders.
The programme is delivered through a custom online learning portal where you can access lectures, assignments, and discussion boards at any time during the programme. Live office hours are hosted via webinar tools, and recordings are provided if you miss a session.
Faculty lectures are pre-recorded, so you can study at your own pace. While live sessions are optional, they are encouraged as they provide opportunities to ask questions, gain practical insights, and engage with peers through discussion boards.
Programme videos are available for streaming only and require an internet connection. However, you can download transcripts, readings, and assignment templates.
You can interact with other participants through the learning platform using discussion groups, interest- or location-based groups, and direct messaging features.
