This page is no longer being regularly updated. For ongoing market updates, please refer to ICMA’s Central Bank corporate bond purchase programmes page, comprising data and commentary on both European Central Bank and Bank of England programmes. You may also find regularly updated key market data on either ICMA’s secondary markets 'Market data' page, or ICMA’s repo and collateral markets 'Market data' page.
ICMA monitored developments in global capital markets in response to the COVID-19 pandemic between the period of February 2020 to March 2021. The initiative centralised a large amount of information from key resources under the following headings: Monetary policy, Regulatory responses, Market practice, Market data and commentary, Sustainable finance and Additional resources.
During this period, ICMA created numerous publications, webinars, and podcasts on market developments, alongside key indicators, relating to the impacts of the pandemic on international capital markets. This is still available on ICMA’s Market data and commentary page.
The non-exhaustive consolidation of market updates was one initiative aimed to support all our members during this period. We will continue to issue advice and guidance to members on market and regulatory issues. Please contact our helpdesk for assistance regulatoryhelpdesk@icmagroup.org.
