Charles Tissier is a Senior Associate in Dentons’ Banking & Finance practice in Paris and is specialised in Capital Markets transactions. He regularly advises financial institutions and French and foreign corporates on their debt capital market transactions, including plain-vanilla and structured bonds, Euro PP, EMTN programmes, hybrid securities, covered bonds, high yield, commercial paper and liability management transactions.
He also focuses on derivatives transactions as well as advising on issues relating to netting, collateral, the role of clearing houses and the implementation of new regulations applying to these products.
He joined Dentons in 2018. Prior to this, he spent 8 years in the Capital Markets departments of other international law firms. He holds graduate and posgraduate degrees in law from Paris X and Paris Dauphine.
Charles hopes to contribute to the FLC by continuing to promote the IFL initiative to facilitate young professionals to connect with the leaders within the financial industry, especially in Paris. This initiative also allows the future leaders to share their views in a current regulatory and market environment which is becoming increasingly complex.
